Next Signal is an iPhone app published by Lettus AI. This policy describes the app. The Lettus AI website and enterprise data partnership program are covered by a separate privacy policy.

Information the app collects
What we collect depends on how you use Next Signal.
- Email address, if you sign in. A guest account has no email.
- An account identifier, so the app can keep your follows and activity together.
- Follows and mutes you choose, such as people, companies, industries, and interests.
- Stories you see, open, save, or hide, and how long a card or an opened article stays on screen. This is used to order later stories.
- Technical logs needed to run the service, such as the time of a request.
How we use it
We use this information to sign you in, send a one-time email code, remember follows and mutes, avoid showing a story you have already seen, and order the feed.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. The app does not show third-party ads.
What stays on your iPhone
Saved stories are stored on the iPhone. Signing out or deleting the account does not remove them. Deleting the app removes them.
Services that process data for us
We use service providers only to run Next Signal:
- Amazon Web Services, to host the app’s servers.
- An email provider, to send the sign-in code.
- OpenAI, to write the short summary from the text of a news story. The summary can be wrong. The card links to the original reporting.
Publisher websites you open from a card are outside Next Signal. Their own policies apply once you leave the card.
How long we keep it
Account information and reading activity are kept while the account exists. A sign-in code expires after a few minutes.
Deleting the account removes the email, follows, mutes, and story activity from our service. A guest account that is never signed in can be removed after a period of inactivity.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Account and choose Delete account. This is available when you are signed in with email. Deletion is completed in the app and does not require an email to us.
You can also email support@lettus.ai from the address on the account and ask us to delete it.
Your choices
You can use the app as a guest, skip sign-in, change follows, mute a source or topic, and hide a story. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Email support@lettus.ai to use them.
Children
Next Signal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
